Description

It would be nice to have a script to backup and restore "all" settings of an old HDA.
Such settings like sharings, users, maybe plugin-settings and the general settings.
For example:
I'm reinstalling my NAS from Fedora 14 to Ubuntu 12.04 and it would be nice, if i can just "copy" the settings of the old installation to the new one.

as an approximation, one could do this and save it:

hda-settings
ls /home/
cat /etc/samba/smb.conf

  • File hda-settings_folders.zip added

Here's the output.

In my case the /secudata dirs exists, because i only reinstalled the OS-Harddisk (New USB-Stick) and kept the old one.
