Description

Hi guys,

if I install e.g. CouchPotato from the HDA dashboard, it creates a folder under /var/hda/web-apps/. The Transmission package does that as well but the subfolder /html remains empty. That's a bit confusing.

But the main point is that it is not starting with the server as a service, i.e. I manually need to start it before other programs like Sickbeard or CouchPotato can access it.

On top:
could we get a newer version? Or automatically update?
what permissions are set for the folders? and for which user?

Imho, this package should be worth now being a paid one-click install.

Need details from log files if possible. Could be it did not install properly.

Where do I find the logs? /var/hda/web-apps/transmission/logs?

#3 Updated by cpg about 8 years ago

for app installation, check and share any relevant portion of this log file:

/var/log/amahi-app-installer.log

If it installed ok, check the logs area you indicated.
