User Password Length
Currently the user password length allowed in the Dashboard is 13. This should be increased to at least 24 if possible.
I am unsure what the maximum length Linux allows, but I am sure it's more than 13. Users should be able to create more complex passwords that 13 characters does not support.
I have successfully used password of 20 characters on the command line with no problems. I will try to research the maximum allowable length for Fedora 19.

My research so far has not yielded much as to the maximum length allowed for passwords. I did read that if passwords are hashed, the length is unlimited.
If that is the case, then we are free to make it any length we want, 24, 28, 32, etc as the maximum. Most of what I found indicates a minimum length, which is 8 for most Linux systems.
Although when changing passwords, you are warned if it is to short but still allowed to create the shorter password.
