Description

How about simpler remote access setup for apps. Many users struggle with this and it often requires our assistance. In the past, it has consumed a lot of support time and effort. If we could make this easier, it would be appreciated.

Maybe we could some how link this to the default user.yourhda.com.

Can you be more specific?

With webapps it's trivial to add a ServerAlias to a webapp.

Then it's a matter of forwarding, which is the hardest for regular users.

Can you be more specific as to what would need to be done?

True.

Functionality like the Amahi Web Apps Proxy app.

Where the problem comes in with exposing apps it for those that run on port 80. Only one can be exposed at a time easily and would be nice if multiple could be with less hassle.

It's quite a chore for those less experienced to do so. On a typical Linux server it's rather simple. It's typically user.yourhda.com/appname but in Amahi it does not work that way due to virtual hosts I presume.
