Description

Based on 2-3 users having issues with SSH login, I have discovered a problem caused by a Fedora 21 upstream package update to SSH. It involves the permissions being incorrectly set to 640 for the following files:

/etc/ssh/ssh_host_ecdsa_key
/etc/ssh/ssh_host_ed25519_key
/etc/ssh/ssh_host_rsa_key

The solution is to set them to 600:
chmod 600 /etc/ssh/ssh_host_*_key

This must be done after the initial Fedora 21 install. I will update the wiki to indicate the solution. Not much we can do with Amahi to fix this I presume.

It does not appear to affect the Full DVD install.

Obviously SSH must be restarted to invoke the changes:

systemctl restart sshd
