handbrake-cli is missing from rpmfusion repos
we need a test version of HandBrake-cli
#1 Updated by cpg about 5 years ago
test version for amahi 8/f21 available. to test, install (before, preferably) the Videos5 Amahi app. then install as root:
rpm -Uvh http://alpha.amahi.org/tmp/HandBrake-cli-0.10.5-1.x86_64.rpm
then it may work.
However --- keep an eye on the encoding AFTER it ends. If it works, we need to know.
If not, we think the mediainfo program is bad (at least in Fedora 23), which may lead to the encoding become stuck in an infinite loop of encoding/remove-file/encoding/remove-file ..... etc. for ever.

- Status changed from Assigned to Closed
updated the app for the following:
- make the ipod/iphone preset default
- make the infinite encoding loop impossible - just encode and quit
- fixed some hardcoded paths for nice and handbrake that did not quite work in the default case and also were not really necessary
for that, we forked the repo for the app and released it with github at https://github.com/amahi/videos5
testing on a user's machine indicates it works well.
next we moved the HandBrake-cli rpm to the amahi repo, updated it and published the updated repo.
