please try this:

dnf -y install rsyslog
systemctl start amahi-anywhere

it's a guess, but we saw a case of this dependency missing recently.

That appears to have allowed me to start the service.

My mobile devices are not able to see my shares via the Andriod or iOS apps but they're inside my network now. I don't know if that has an impact.

I have a screenshot of the output if you need it. Looks like it just went out and downloaded some files which I expect is what it was supposed to do.

Update: I tried the Amahi app on an iOS device just now and it works fine. Assuming it doesn't stop again I would say you nailed it on the first shot.

We added this dependency for this app. Something may have changed in the upstream repos that is causing this. It's too painful to debug, so this work-around, being easy, is appealing.

Thanks for taking the time to report this. When we see something a couple of times in disparate users, it's typically not a coincidence and disruption in the force.
