Description

The Amahi Plex Media Server app is reporting an update is available.

Current Amahi version is Version 1.1.4.2757

Plex Website has latest versions as 1.3.3.3148

Can this be looked into?  The Amahi version seems a fair way behind.

ok, can you help test?

you can test this updating by installing this RPM ... without uninstalling/reinstalling the Amahi app as follows:

rpm -Uvh http://alpha.amahi.org/tmp/amahi-plex-1.3.3.3148-1.x86_64.rpm

after this, please go to the web interface, and reply how it went after testing, specifically, if it was all OK, to what extent did not test it, etc.

Thanks CPG.
Installation went as expected. No issues occurring and installation was completed within 3 minutes.
The app still does not load from the dashboard and still requires to use http://hda:32400/web. This looks like a permanent change so maybe the Amahi packaged app needs to change the to suit this.
Plex clients (Windows 10, Windows 10 Mobile, Xbox One, Plex Classic (Telstra TV) and Android) tested. All connect well.
Noted that older (2011, NetCast Models) LG TV Media Connect detects the server but no longer connects, this seems to be a PLEX Application issue not an AMAHI issue.

this is actually a Plex issue. Th app REFUSES to work when used behind a proxy. It's sloppy.

released to the repos and people will see it automatically. thanks for testing!
