Description

this is from geraldw's hda. 2 instances (or 3?) seemly running. this is a bug and increases the dyndns updates unnecessarily.

do you think you can take a look at this?

i think it's because the PID in the .pid file is for the daemon and it should be for the main thread, whch should keep track of the pid of the daemon and kill it when it's killed.

there is also another process, the pipe deamon that is forked and should be tracked and killed when the main deamon thread is killed.
