Description

Missing drive tempature setup --> storeage --> disks.

hddtemp /dev/sda

output:

[root@Amahi-Home-Server ~]# hddtemp /dev/sda
/dev/sda: SAMSUNG SP2004C: 34°C

this looks like a privilege escalation issue. works for regular users, not for apache :(

appears to be an f12 issue. it may not be too easy to fix. let's see if this can fix it.

can you do this as root:

service hddtemp start

then (assuming that works):

telnet localhost 7634

and paste the output here?

i think this has been fixed.

to test, you must have the latest released hdactl (4.6) and hda-platform (4.4-6).
(if you do not have them, please use yum clean metadata && yum -y install 'hda*)

in addition you need to turn on the hddtemp service:

service hddtemp start

if it works, please close this bug report! :)
