Hello there! I have a Fog/pxe server on my network, and my router is set-up to point to it, but the DHCP service in amahi seems to be screwing with it. I've looked on-line, and asked a few members in the irc chat if they could help out, but to no avail. the only option for me was to turn off DHCP and let my router handle it.

Currently my router has this command in it to route to pxe server dhcp-boot=pxelinux.0,, anyway to put this into amahi? even if I have to add it manually to something, I'd be ok with that.

You can edit /etc/dhcpd/dhcpd.conf using a CLI editor or by installing Webmin (Servers|DHCP Server). Just make a backup first ;)

The only way I was able to get my fog server to work was by turning off dhcp on amahi. If there is a way to redirect PXE booting, like with your netboot you have, I'm all ears.

I think i found a permanent solution to the PXE boot system.

in order for PXE boot to work on a linux machine, we need to edit the dhcpd.conf file. But amahi overwrites the dhcp.conf file VIA a sql database.

How hard would it be to add in a section under the static ip area to allow someone to add in there own commands. Just like the file storage system. Make it an advanced feature. I'd be willing to test it out and see if it works.
