mpls1: im just starting to install fedora .... on the page with Network Devices - Hostname - Miscellaneous settings ....... the instructions say "Use DHCP for the install process"
are you referring to the Hostname part?
or the Network Devices part?
clarify in the install pages.
mpls1: second question: i chose 192.168.0.10 to be the static ip for my HDA box ........ somewhere in the install process I will have the opportunity to actually assign this ip address to my box?
GeraldW: will automatically be done for you!
mpls1: i just logged into the desktop (as root) for the first time ........ should i install all the security updates before i type the hda-install command?
mpls1: i am to the point of rebooting after the hda-install ........ i dont see anything about turning off the dhcp on my router .......... is that something i need to log onto my router and figure out how to do?
