Plex Media Server - install
tail -200 /var/log/amahi-app-*.log | fpastehttp://fpaste.org/0UkK/
During install something went wrong. See line 122.
After the install the application (http://plex_media_server/manage/index.html) gives and error: a blank page, 404 Not Found
As suggested here , I did manually install rsync via the commandline/terminal.
Now the service plex_media_server does not start

Managed to remove Plex
rpm -e plexmediaserver --noscriptsInstalled via one click installer (browser GUI).
Session is up and running now. Maybe the the rsync was not required at all because I get a blank page again (http://plex_media_server/manage/index.html), EM: 404 Not Found
The admin page loads if I call in the page by IP/localhost:
Is it maybe a proxy issue?
<VirtualHost *:80> ServerName plex_media_server ServerAlias plex_media_server.atikatilu.info # Redirect / http://pms:32400/manage/ ProxyPass / http://localhost:32400/manage/ ProxyPassReverse / http://localhost:32400/manage/ DocumentRoot /var/hda/web-apps/plex_media_server/html <Directory "/var/hda/web-apps/plex_media_server/html"> Options Indexes FollowSymLinks +ExecCGI AddHandler fcgid-script .fcg AllowOverride AuthConfig Order allow,deny Allow from all </Directory> ErrorLog /var/hda/web-apps/plex_media_server/logs/error_log CustomLog /var/hda/web-apps/plex_media_server/logs/access_log combined env=!dontlog </VirtualHost>
FYI: the DHCP is managed by my router, but the current configuration works like a charm with other applications.

ProxPass was not working, but the RedirectPermanent did. I changed it a bit to use a .htaccess file rather than the proxy. I also tried to fix the cannot remove elevated directory without fail. No luck, but this app needs some work I think. Too unpredictable and the download size makes it apt to fail for folks with slow connections.

I have had issues with proxy not working before and have always had to use a redirect at home even if cpg has said he managed to get the ProxyPass to work.
rm: cannot remove `elevated': Permission denied
I have never witnessed this myself. Looks like it should be a privileges issue with the user running the installer, but that also seems unlikely since you seem to be able to install other apps. My guess is that it might be as a result of something that goes wrong before it.
Trying to get the rpm into the Amahi repo and get around the dropbox resolve issues seems like a good first step.
