Description

When adding files to a share which is part of the storage pool, I see this message in the log:

Found a share (Apollo) with no path in /etc/samba/smb.conf, or missing it's num_copies[Apollo] config in /etc/greyhole.conf. Skipping.

Only 1 drive is configured for the pool, so num copies option is not available in the dashboard.

History

#1 Updated by bigfoot65 almost 9 years ago

No files have been replicated by Greyhole. There should be a default to 1 copy for shares or have it available via dashboard.

#2 Updated by bigfoot65 almost 9 years ago

Further investigation shows copies=1 in the /etc/greyhole.conf.

Ok...seems a manual fsck was needed to get files moving. Not sure about the message noted above, but time will tell.
