Description

Could you please update the app to the newer version 0.7.7? Thanks!

History

It is the most current for Ubuntu. Fedora 14 is not compatible with the latest version. We have had issues with the past few versions not being compatible with Fedora 14. I believe it's related to dependencies being out of date.

If you have successfully gotten it to work, please let us know. We would be glad to update it for Fedora 14 based on successful install guidance.

Hi bigfoot,

I wrote here since I would like you to update the version. I have no problem testing it.

Cheers,
T.

Ubuntu is updated, but Fedora cannot be. Due to the newer packages needed by SABnzbd, Fedora 14 cannot use the latest. Sorry, but no update.

But how can I install from the apps if I already got it installed without uninstalling it first and loosing my settings?

It will back up your settings automatically. You can also copy them to another location. Uninstall and reinstall. If you settings do not transfer, you can restore them from the back up.

I am not at my HDA, so I will remotely uninstall and reinstall. And nothing will get lost from the settings such as categories, file directories etc.?

It should not remove any files that are located in the share. The only files removed are from the /var/hda/web-apps/sabnzbdplus directory. As I mentioned, the settings should automatically be backed up.

I would advise as a precaution to back the settings up on your own just in case.

Thanks, it worked like you said. Uninstalled and reinstalled with previous settings still there.
